I’ve been learning that even the Old Testament that the disciples and Jesus loved and quoted was the LXX, a Greek translation of the old Testament. The current Hebrew Masoretic text has been altered by the Jews to scrub some of the clearly Messianic verses. In the LXX text, Joshua was also called Jesus (Iesous). I appreciate you speaking out on this. The book I’m reading on this is called “The Seventy-Two Servants of the Word of God: Retrieving the Septuagint as Scripture.”
I do think he is mistaken on this. I had already come to believe the KJV is corrupted. Not nearly as bad as the Revised Version. However, the early church used (for the New Testament) a group of manuscripts called the Majority Text. Wilbur Pickering does an excellent job exposing this in his work titled, The Identity of the New Testament. Anyway - God promises to preserve His Word - so I trust He will sort this all out. I trust He’ll show us all grace if we are desiring the truth on the matter, yet get something wrong due to lack of knowledge.
In my language Jesus is the name above all names. It is also quite clear that His name in particular is reviled by ' the powers that should not be'. The Name Above All Names has become so denigrated by hollywierd and all of the lying media also. Therefore we are onto something! Jesus Christ is King of Kings (and I will not stop worshipping Him, The Father and The Holy Spirit, three in One!).

This is what I’d learned too. However Eduard Hendrie holds the opposite view and claims the original KJV (masoretic) to be the only correct version.
